On 6th August 2019, Honorable Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai visited National Archives. The minister was accompanied by Act. Director General of Department of Archaeology Damodar Gautam and other high level officials. All of them were welcomed and briefed about National Archives and its collections by Mrs. Saubhagya Pradhananga, the chief of National Archives.
Hon, Minister Bhattarai observed the document collection of National Archives in Archive Section and document digitization function at Microfilm and Electronic Record Management Section. During the visit, he expressed his commitment to implement a process to collect more and more historical important documents from various part of the country.
